Disney Pixar Animation Studios has brought us dozens of original characters from twenty plus movies over the past several decades, each with their own unique personalities and different traits. We’ve seen clever clownfish, talkative toys, and even rambunctious rats. Each character brings different qualities to the table, and we know that we can count on the creators at Pixar to consistently introduce us to superb individuals.

One place where you can also find a vast array of different people is within a country’s capital. It takes many different skills and characteristics to make a good president, and our favorite Pixar friends just so happen to have a lot of these. We think that these ten Pixar personalities would make great presidents, and here’s why.

Woody

When it comes to being president, there’s a new sheriff in town! Woody (Toy Story) knows that there is no time to toy around in politics, and he is ready to ride like the wind. He’s dealt with a few snakes in his boot, but he knows how to be a true friend to those who have his back. He’s been involved with some big moves, and he hopes to bring this experience into the presidency. Woody’s used to being number one, but he is all about teamwork as well. Woody has quite a few stories to tell, and the presidency would be another great notch in his belt.

Flik

When it comes to politics, there can sometimes be a few bugs in the system, but Flik (A Bug’s Life) is hoping to turn that into a good thing! He is used to hard work, particularly in large groups, and is capable of carrying the weight placed on a president’s back.

While being president can sometimes feel like a circus, Flik has experience dealing with clowns that may come in handy when juggling his political responsibilities. He knows that the job isn’t always a picnic, but this ant is going to march right into this one on one presidential election with confidence!

Lightning McQueen

When life is a highway, you’re going to want Lightning McQueen (Cars) as your president. McQueen has shifted into drive, he’s got his pedal to the metal, and he is ready to cruise down Presidential Place. He’s been through and won many races, so the presidential race would be a sinch. He speeds through his tasks with focus and precision, steering through the hazards and navigating bumps in the road along the way. Lightning is not afraid to take the road less traveled - no shortcuts for this guy! When the light turns green, be sure to go for Lightning McQueen!

Sully

Since the presidency can be monstrous, that’s precisely why Sully (Monsters Inc.) is perfect for the job. Sully towers over his competition, and he’s roaring with excitement to enter the presidential race. He’s not afraid to give a scare or two to anyone who gives him a hard time, he sticks to his duties when things get hairy, and he’s willing to fight for the issues until he’s blue in the face. Sully is hoping to fix the energy crisis our world is facing, and he’s willing to go through all the screams and laughs to do it. To Sully, we’d just like to say, “We wouldn’t have nothing if we didn’t have you!”

Nemo

Nemo (Finding Nemo) knows that when it comes to being president, there’s no time to clown around. He’s recently taken some time to find himself, and he’s ready to swim through his responsibilities with that lucky fin of his. Politics can sometimes get a little fishy, but Nemo knows how to handle things when they start to tank, always keeping his head above the water.

When other countries try to lure him in, Nemo won’t take the bait, and if the waters get a bit choppy, he knows how to keep himself afloat. Nemo is in a school all his own and is a great choice for president.

Joy

The presidency may not be the most exciting job, but our next candidate en-joys just about everything she does! Joy (Inside Out) is bright, happy, full of energy and great ideas, and she is ready to turn politics inside out! Being president can have its bad days, but Joy doesn’t let negative emotions bring her down. She can be really in touch with what others are feeling, almost as if she gets in their heads, and her memory is outstanding. Even if the world is falling apart around her, she keeps a level head and finds her way out of messy situations. Having her as a president would be a joy!

Mr. Incredible

You don’t need superpowers to be president, but it certainly couldn’t hurt! Mr. Incredible (The Incredibles) has a crime-fighting history and is always on the side of the good guys. He is known to be strong in will, mind, and even physicality, and he can take on any feat with ease.

If his country needs a hero to lead everyone to victory, he is the man for the job. He is known for working with flexible and speedy people, but he also can make even the most invisible individuals feel important. If you’re looking for an incredible president, look no further because Mr. Incredible is here to save the day!

Wall-E

With the way technology and artificial intelligence have evolved in our society, it only makes sense that a robot could become president, and we’re hoping that it will be Wall-E! Wall-E is very passionate about the environment and hopes to do a great amount to save and improve our planet. He can sometimes be a square peg in a round hole, but he cleans up nicely. He has a vast collection of knowledge that would surely come in handy in politics, and he enjoys finding new ideas and solutions to problems. If Wall-E gets elected, he will have things running like a well-oiled machine!

Arlo

The presidency can be an enormous job with huge responsibilities, and who better to take on larger than life tasks than a dino? Arlo (The Good Dinosaur) is all about going green, and he feels that keeping the planet healthy is important to avoid the extinction of our species. He has been known to stick his neck out, even if it means taking a risk with some dangerous individuals. He cares about children and will protect them at all costs, and he hopes to enact some policies that hit the spot. Arlo is used to being alone, but he also values family and hard work. He is truly good at heart, and he hopes that modern politics will go the way of the dinosaur.

Carl

One could argue that a president needs a sense of adventure, and Mr. Carl Fredricksen (Up) is one of the most adventurous fellows out there. He wants to take his country to new heights and help raise it above the rest. While he has no children of his own, many young people look up to him, and he has even done some volunteer work with a young scout. Carl has a colorful personality, and he knows how to lift others when they may be down. He hopes to earn and give many badges while being president, and he is prepared to explore the many sides of politics!
